About Us
This Recording/Production Studio is owned and operated by CP1 Records. ('we'/'us'/'our')

Introduction
CP1 Records will make the Recording Studio and/or its third party services available to the Client for the entire duration of the booking. CP1 Records will do its best to complete the Client's work on time and to a standard which is acceptable to the Client. However CP1 Records will not accept any liability and will not be liable for any damages and additional costs incurred by the Client, should the project run over the scheduled time.

Deposit and Fees
A deposit of 50% of the total cost is required in order to reserve studio time and confirm a booking. This deposit is non-refundable unless the Client provides CP1 Records with at least 7 days notice before the booking is due to take place.
If no deposit has been received by CP1 Records regarding a studio booking, that booking may be changed or cancelled if management so decide, without notice to the client.
Upon completion of a project, the Client shall pay the total fees including materials, minus the deposit already paid. If the Client fails to make a payment, CP1 Records will withhold the recordings until payment has been made in full. Late payments may be subject to additional charges.
CP1 Records does not operate money back or return policies under any circumstances.

Cancelling Studio Time
In the unlikely event that CP1 Records must cancel a booking, a full refund of any deposit paid or a rescheduled booking will be offered to the Client.

The Client must provide CP1 Records with 7 days notice of the intention to cancel booked studio time prior to such session. If the correct notice is not received by CP1 Records, the Client will be liable for the cost of 50% of the studio time booked. Sessions cancelled on the same day of the scheduled session will be charged at their total cost.
The Client will still be liable for the total costs if they fail to arrive for a session on time, or in the event that the Client must leave the session early.


Over Time
Overtime is charged at a rate of £7.50 per 15-minutes. 􏰀 Invoices are due and payable upon receipt.

Producers and Engineers
Clients will pay a booking deposit and will liaise with CP1 Records during the entire duration of the project,
All session comes with a CP1 Records producer/engineer that will directly carry out the work for our clients unless agreed upon prior to booking.
At CP1 Records we provide excellent customer service during the entire duration of a project and also offer after care and other audio production services that.
CP1 Records producer/engineer aim to maintain a professional working attitude environment at all times.

Equipment and Venue Hire
All equipment hired by CP1 Records on behalf of a Client must be paid in full at the time of booking. Any costs paid out to a third party, including equipment hire companies, are non refundable.
Any money required to secure third party services and venues must be paid in full by the Client at the time of booking. These costs are non refundable.
CP1 Records will not be held responsible for any damages caused to a third party venue or equipment.

Indemnity
CP1 Records will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, costs and expenses incurred by the Client due to the following:

  • Incorrect storage, on or off the premises of CP1 Records, of equipment, audio and video recordings and digital data.
  • Inappropriate use or abuse of Clients’ recordings.
  • Copyright issues with Clients’ recordings and any related costs/expenses incurred by CP1 Records.

CP1 Records will only provide Clients with a final recording of their work upon completion of the project, once the balance has been settled in full and the payment has cleared in the CP1 Records account.
If the client fails to pay an invoice on time, the client hereby agrees to pay reasonable legal fees, associated with any collection proceedings.

CP1 Records reserves the right to revise rates, policies and equipment without providing written notice.
